Dr Peter Burn
Director
Dr Peter Burn is the Director of Public Policy at the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group). Peter is an alternate Trustee Director on the Board of AustralianSuper, nominated by the Ai Group. He is also a member of the fund’s Investment Committee.
Since 2009, Peter has been responsible for policy development and advocacy at the Ai Group in areas such as maintaining a stable climate for investment, improving the skills and adaptability of Australia’s workforce, and competitive taxation and regulatory arrangements.
Prior to his current role, Peter was Director Policy/Assistant Director at the Business Council of Australia.
After commencing his career in the Commonwealth Treasury, Peter held academic posts at both the University of Queensland and University of Newcastle.
